I had been looking for a while for a really nice cotton tablecloths. The Melrose Damask table linens are simply beautiful and exactly what I was looking for, 59% Cotton tablecloths. I had researched and read not to go over 60% - 65% cotton linen tablecloth blend or the linens will shrink and lose its shape washing. When I just called and purchased 2 additional color sets I mentioned to the agent that there had been no shrinkage at all in my linens after numerous washes in the past 2 months and he explained that the fabric is pre washed to prevent that.. I purchased the Melrose damask table cloths and matching napkins. Best table cloth I have ever seen! Purchased in white - which has a slight bit a cream - sort of like the colour 'cloud white". Totally beautiful. The Damask floral design is woven in and gorgouse. Fabric is thick and so soft. Flows graciously on the dining table. Looks very expensive and high end. I had a guest ask if I had purchased the linen was from Italy. Over half cotton, half polyester yet it is practically a wrinkle free.tablecloth. Totally recommend!!! (Posted on 4/16/2018)

I paid over twice, almost 3 times as much last year at Crate & Barrel for a Damask linens and Damask dinner napkins and they were not as nice as these and they wrinkles terribly where the Melrose Damask hardly wrinkle at all! (Posted on 1/15/2018)
